I do this all the time. I go up my stairs 1 step and stop.
I stop and look at Mom. She has to repeatedly say: "Up, Up, Up.....!!" before I'd finally take the other (last) step up.
It's no fun without someone to cheer me on isn't it.
Same thing on another day:
"Come on Mom, cheer me on!"
