Amazing Volume-Controlled Barks

Not me, my friends, not in a thousand years! BOL!  But I must say, the Shiba Inu in the video is amazing!

Basically, the owner called her and she responded with a loud bark.  The owner then asked for softer (and softer) barks, of which the Shiba Inu responded accordingly! Mom said it has such a cute face she wanted so much to cuddle it! *I'm jealous!*

WOW!!!

Rolling Good Time

My favourite activity on bed besides sleeping is to ROLL!!

Unexplainable Habit

This habit of mine is similar to what I described in my "Newspapers and I" entry.  This time however, it is ... ...


... ... a pair of jeans!!



The moment Mommy laid the jeans down on the floor, immediately I went over and positioned myself on it! Me very worried! Is this a sickness? Do I need to see the vet?? :(

Fetching Raffy

For those who don't already know Raffy, he is my GIANT toy (about as big as me!). Can you imagine me holding Raffy in my cute little mouth? ... plus running with it???  It's okie if you can't cos I've got here a video clip! :)

Newspapers and I (Part 2)

This post I shall continue to elaborate on my weird interest on the newspapers (please refer my other post on "Newspapers and I") to have a clearer picture before reading on.  :)

So, Mommy spread open the newspapers:
Wondering why there's no sign of ME???? That's because I was away from the scene fetching my Bear-Bear!! LOL!

Here I come!



After bringing Bear-Bear to the newspapers, I drop it and wait. Wait for what? Wait for Mommy to snatch it and throw it so we can play fetch! But I don't usually let Mommy snatch Bear-Bear so easily as I will play tug-of-war with her first heeheeheeee... though most of the time I lose to Mommy :'(

 I waited...
 I waited and waited but there was no action from Mommy. She was busy taking pictures! Duh!

Happy 5th Barkday to ME!

Happy barkday to me, happy barkday to me, happy barkday to..mee..ee..e, happy barkday to ME!

Time really really flies. Today I am 5 years old liao!  No celebrations at all :(  but Mommy promised to give more treats today.  Heee.. it's ok so long as I get to munch, anything also can!

However, photo-taking is a MUST hor!







Er....Mommy, how come no new shirt-shirt ah???

 

 The last photo above was taken on my 2nd Barkday.  Hmm...think my fur has darkened.   Have I aged ah??  Time for some Botox perhaps?

My New Play"Ground"

Whenever my Daddy and Mommy are lounging on the sofa, I have no problem joining them on my own as the sofa height is chicken feet to me heeheehee... But hor, sometimes when they decide to sit at the computer desk I can only loiter BELOW it! I refuse to accept that and would make noise (aka complaint) hahaha.... Mommy would then carry me up and put me on her lap. Only then would I be satisfied ^_^

So this time same thing again lor. But instead of her lap, Mommy put me on top of the computer desk! I went around sniffing everything on it, so shiok! Then I settled down and played with my Pinky.

Newspapers and I

Do not misunderstand, it is not that I read the newspapers but somehow the newspapers play an important role in dogs' lives; don't you think?  Or should I say we help to put the read newspapers to GOOD use?! I don't know about the rest of my fellow K9s out there but our household's old newspapers are used:

• 
  
  to line my toilet area;
  
  
• 
  
  as dining mat when I have my BARF meals; and
  
  
• 
  
  to line the floor when I vomit (ie. if Mommy manage to catch me going to vomit lah :P).
  
  

But there's something unexplainable about this weird behaviour of mine though: whenever I see my hoomans flip open the newspapers on the floor to sit down and read, immediately I will run grab my Bear-Bear or Pinky (toy) and then park myself on the newspapers to play!! Then in order to make me go away, Mommy will play fetch with me heeheeee... However, at times when I am not in playing mood, I will just go lie down ON the newspapers they are trying to read! LOL! I also do not know why leh??







The same thing also always happens when Mommy is preparing in advance the papers for my toilet use (separating the papers into individual sheets); the moment I see her handling the newspapers on the floor, there I go again fetching my toy etc... This makes Mommy very frustrated lor!

Funny thing is, I don't fetch my toys to go play on my toilet's or dining mat's newspapers leh.. how come ah? Instinct?? Or I so smart know how to differentiate??? hmm....

Snood?

Sometimes when things get too boring at home and Mommy is in her crazy mood, guess what? I become her object of amusement lor! *sulk*

Mommy let me wear my t-shirt halfway on my head and said it is my new Snood. What the hell is that, a snood?
She looked at me and laughed, laughed, laughed.



Never mind that she made fun of me, but she actually forgot about this snood thing and left it stayed that way on my head for like dunno-how-long before she remembered and removed it for me!!!

Now I know what it means by "It's A Dog's Life"! *melancholic song playing in the background*

Raffy Got Stuck!

See? Raffy got stuck at my humans' bed and I was trying to rescue him!



However, I did not succeed in rescuing him (later I overheard Mommy telling Daddy that I merely made matters worse!)

Introducing Raffy!

Last Saturday, Mommy disappeared after feeding me my morning meal. Erh.. not really 'disappeared' cos I actually sent her off at the door. Heard her on the fone mentioning going to some place that sounds like somebody's child in Hokkien (Ee-ay-kea). Later on I found out from a plastic bag that the correct name is Ikea!

Okie, long story cut short. Mommy came home with a bagful of stuff including 2 new toys for me! YAY!! The other toy Mommy didn't even let me see...she quickly put it away :(

Anyway peepz, here's Raffy the giraffe!

Raffy's butt is so huge I can use it as my pillow hahaha...

Kena Corn-ed

Bowie (looking at Mommy): "Mommy, what is this corn-look-alike thing? Can it be eaten? yum yum..."

Mommy : "Aiyo, all you think of is EAT! That is a toy for you which we bought while holidaying in Canada last year. It's made up of many rotating discs which help to clean your gum and teeth while you chew on it."


Bowie: "Oh I see!" *chew chew chew*

... ... * and aaaahh.... let me open my mouth bigger; better be more thorough cleaning my gum ...*

I Water Plants At Every Walkie

This is actually part of an earlier post "My Everyday Walkie":



I wonder why myself that I have this habit of 'watering' plants/shrubs especially those at the edges or corners. Any of you furry friends are like me?

The Entertainer

Oh nooooo..! Why do I have this feeling that there's nothing good out of this -- me being placed on the TV console, next to this 14" TV??? Mommy is bound to be up to something AGAIN :( The big TV had died and was disposed of. So while waiting for the new TV to be delivered, I became the object of entertainment. Hmm... is this one of the reasons human keep us as pets? So that we can drive away their boredom?


Please, Mommy, carry me down please please? I promise I'll be a good boy (for today)...


Mommy would only carry me down if I posed next to the TV and put on a smile. Better do as she says or else I'd be up here for eon years. So here goes:
